SHO Channi Himmat Sajjad Parvez got President's Police medal for his distinguished services. Inspector Sajjad Parvez was appointed as Assistant Sub Inspector in Jammu and Kashmir Police in 2000.
During his 20 year career in J&K Police, Sajjad Parvez has solved many important cases including the sensational recovery of J&KHigh Court Lawyer in which he was appointed as a member of Special Investigation Team by the order of Hon'ble High Court.
The Union Home Ministry on Saturday announced the medals indifferent categories on the eve of 71st Republic Day. In all, 126 J&K Police personnel are among the awardees of the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service, Meritorious Service and Gallantry.
SHO Sajjad Parvez is considered as an expert of Information and Technology in J&K Police which is the reason that he has been tasked with solving various blind murder, theft and kidnapping cases and every time exceeding the his higher officers expectations, He has solved blind murder cases and made recoveries worth crores.
He has served at many sensitive positions since 2000 including SHO Trikuta Nagar, Bus stand, Nagrota, Reasi and Udhampur.
Congratulating the officer along with other award winners and their families, Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh said the awards show the exemplary courage and dedication shown by the police personnel in service of the nation. He wished them more success and recognition in future.
